Prishtina Architecture Week 2014

The second edition of Prishtina ARCHITECTURE WEEK came to a successful end after its six days run held between 30th June and 6th July. In which one of the most famous world architects, Sir Peter Cook read a charming lecture about his works and his approach to architecture.

Organized by the Kosovo Architecture Foundation in close partnership with the Municipality of Prishtina, this year’s topic focused on the topic “The City” inspiring us to an active attitude towards the environment we inhabit and change together.

The diverse and intense program featured presentations, exhibitions, discussions, workshops, screenings and architectural workshops for the youngest. Where more than 500 hundred architects, teachers, students and interested citizens had the opportunity to hear throughout these 6 days the concepts and the projects of most renowned architecture studios around the world.
