Kosova at the 14th Venice Biennale

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosova has announced that Kosova once again will be part of the Venice Architecture Biennale. Responding to this year’s director Rem Koolhaas’ theme, titled “Fundamentals”, Minister Krasniqi has appointed an Advisory Board, which will propose 3 to 5 potential candidates for curating this edition’s Pavilion of Kosova.

The Advisory Board is composed of Kosova’s most prominent architects, Ilir Gjinolli, Ilir Murseli, Gjejlane Hoxha, Florina Jerliu and Perparim Rama the last edition curator of Kosova’s Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.

According to the announcement, the Commissioner, in this case the Ministry of Culture will give creative support for the implementation process of the project, as required by the curator, and will assist the curator from idea development to its final presentation.
