Urban Plus open studios

Last week during Prishtina Architecture Week, Urban Plus held an open studio session welcoming students and freelancers of the profession to their working environments, to see what’s been happening by looking around the studios and talking to each of the staff personally about their work. Check for more photos after the break.

Famed for their architecture and especially for urban planning, Urban Plus is a studio established in October of 2001 within the Department of Architecture – FCEA at the University of Prishtina, whose work ranges from large scale urban planning to architectural small scale projects. After two years of development, the studio saw the transformation to a private company.

Designing such architectural feats as the Green School in Prishtina and the Regional Library in Gjakova apart from other several urban and architectural plannings, Urban Plus also has a growing reputation for sustainable design.

For further information on the studio including information on their past and current projects please visit the Urban+ website and follow the day to day updates on facebook here.
